The "techie" programmers are not the only ones who have jumped on the iPhone app band wagon. Rita Bruce and Cathy Mitchell, two friends and moms in the Houston area, have knocked down all barriers by taking their idea for an iPhone game to the finish line. "We're hoping everyone playing our game will laugh as much as we did creating it," state Cathy Mitchell and Rita Bruce, whose nickname "Peety' combined with Cathy's nickname make their company name, "PeetyCat." They have turned a socially engaging game they play with their spouses, friends and as a party starter into a social networking opportunity. "We feel the iPhone is the perfect venue for this game, because it allows people to always have the party with them," explain Rita and Cathy.THEIR GAME, EITHER OR GAME: The game is effortless - no scoring system, no dice, no levels to achieve and there are no difficult instructions to follow, thus allowing humor to dictate the momentum of the game. "Either Or Game is based on one's desire to laugh and on the natural, human tendency to want to 'pick the brain' in an attempt to get to know someone better," explain Rita and Cathy. HOW TO PLAY: To play, players simply shout their choice of two options and if anyone playing would like to know why someone made a particular choice, they just ask "Where Ya Comin' From?" The choices often have double meanings to purposely allow players to think and answer the same question differently, which is why the question "Where Ya Comin' From" is a vital part of this game. (i.e. "On The Beach or In The Woods" and "Ask Permission or Beg Forgiveness") More importantly, it is a perfect, lighthearted way to get to know someone better, and you will walk away knowing that person in a whole new way.
