The new line includes seven boards and their accompanying bindings, all featuring unique designs that capture the beauty of nature. With high-quality construction and carbon-fiber reinforcement for stability, BitchBoards accounts for a woman’s lower center of gravity, smaller feet and need for an ultra-light board. The collection’s complimentary bindings give women high quality snow equipment with different styles and color choices to suit each woman’s own sense of style. BitchBoards was created by Alex Masterson, a snowboarding enthusiast who became frustrated with the lack of style and selection of snow equipment she saw available to women. “Women’s needs are not being fulfilled in snowboarding,” Masterson says. “Most boards are men’s boards with cutesy graphics and they’re heavy, awkward and hard to control. Add to that the lack of style and many women quit early in the learning process or don’t try at all. We’re hoping to change that.” Masterson founded BitchBoards in 2006 and aims to create snowboard equipment that not only compliment a woman’s physique, but also satisfy her desire for fashion on the slopes. The new line includes: BitchBoards’ unique designs have been honored with the esteemed ISPO BrandNew Thermolite® Style award and Masterson continues her mission to provide style, quality and performance with BitchBoards’ new line.
