According to the Dekalb police spokesperson Jason Gagnon; this incident happened a little after 11p.m on Wednesday in a neighborhood off the Snapfinger Road, in the 2100 block of Sterling Ridge court. He also said that after the shots were fired, the suspect was able to take control over the victim's car. The Atlanta police said that the shootout happened when the victim was on the phone talking to someone and the suspect came and asked him for the phone. As the victim resisted they got into a fight and the suspect pulled out the gun. After being shot, the victim pounded on one Sonya Johnson's door to ask for help and call 911. The eye witness said that he was all soaked in blood and crying for help. The police also told the Atlanta news that a silver Dodge Magnum was seen speeding away from the crime scene and they are trying to find if it was connected with the shootout in any way. Both the men are said to be in their 20s and the police hasn't released their identities yet. |
