On January 19th 2010, Rapper Waka Flocka Flame was shot several times at the bubble bath carwash while he was washing his car at National Highway 5220 in Atlanta. As per sources he was hit twice in the arm and has survived the shooting. The squabble started over jewelry. The burglar approached the Rapper and demanded jewelry which he refused to part with. They both struggled and the burglar opened fire wounding the Rapper.

Waka Flocka Flame's birth name is Juaquin Malphurs. He shifted to New York at the age of nine. Basketball players and drug dealers were his role models when he was young. He got his special sounding name from Gucci Mane, and it gets its name from the sound of a semi-automatic pistol cocking. It's a paradox that Rapper who is associated with guns through is name has been shot. The crime scene i.e. the car wash isn't very far from the Hartsfield International Airport in Atlanta, which is a popular and busy airport serving many airlines.

Police are in search of a 22 year old black man with dollar sign tattoo on left cheek. Lately there have been a lot of high celebrity crime scenes in Atlanta area. Fiancé of the popular star Kandi Burruss died outside a strip club in Atlanta area after being involved in a fight.
