The Atlanta city is highly cracking down on illegal dumping sites. It's been a really huge problem in some parts of the Atlanta city. It has been very difficult to say who the owners of the dumping land are as these properties are in foreclosure.

A business owner living near one of these sites said that these dumping sites are really an eyesore and something needs to be done about them. In the southwest neighborhood of Atlanta, the residents are more concerned bout two such illegal dumping sites and they are within a block of each other.

The commissioner of Planning and community development of Atlanta, James Shelby said assured that he had looked into the problem but it is really difficult to determine the owner of these properties. He said a lien can be put on these dumping sites as an effort to collect some amount which is required to clean these sites.
