Current teachers, students, friends, families, and supporters rally to oppose the current budget and education crisis.

On Saturday, March 27, 2010, members of Georgians against Merit Pay, Georgia Education Alliance, Metro Alliance of Classroom Educators, Georgia Students for Public Higher Education, and others will rally at Centennial Olympic Park in support of K-12 education and proposed attacks on this institution.

The rally will start at 1:00PM at the Games Plaza and around the park. The rally will last approximately two hours.

Georgians against Merit Pay and the Georgia Education Alliance recently united to oppose current proposed legislative acts that take away funding from school districts, cut programs, fire teachers and staff, and do harm to the future of Georgia's students.
