"Georgia Students for Public Higher Education" is a grass-roots coalition of students, alumni, faculty, and friends of the University System of Georgia (USG) formed in fall 2009 in response to recurring fee hikes. Members of GSPHE represent every college and university across the state and are UNITED in purpose: to maintain equitable access to higher education in the state of Georgia.

"The end of the school year is really a time to prepare for transition - the transition from one grade to another, but also the transition from in-classroom learning to the ongoing learning process that takes place outside of school," says Deanne Moore, Center Director of the Sylvan Learning in Austell. "At this time of year, we advise parents to focus on three areas - helping their child make the most of the final weeks of school, knowing what the next grade level will bring and looking for ways to continue the joy of learning during the summer break."
